Who is Mrs. McCully?

Hello Parents and Students!

I have lived in the Fairfield community for 25 years.  I have three children and they have all attended school in Fairfield ISD.  This is my 16th year of working at Fairfield Junior High School.

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Wilson College in Chambersburg, Pa., a Master of Science degree in Plant Physiology from the University of Delaware in Newark, Del., and a Master of Science in Information and Library Science from the University of North Texas in Denton, Tx.

I am originally from eastern Pennsylvania (only a few miles from the Mason-Dixon Line) in an agricultural community similar to Fairfield.

I have been a Water Quality Treatment Analyst, Director of an Environmental Services Laboratory, Lecturer at the University of Maryland Department of Agricultural Sciences, and Formulations Researcher and Production Manager for an Agricultural Biopesticide Company.  I have also done research for the U.S. Forestry Service.

I am a dedicated Ecologist and amateur Geologist; I feel that it is my responsibility to show our children that the Earth is a delicate balance of biotic and abiotic elements which must be protected.
